What the website does
There is no account registration, third-party analytics or advertising tracking in this version. Fonts and visual assets are served with the website. Your motion preference may be remembered in your browser’s local storage; it is not sent to us.
Oliver’s website guide
Oliver uses OpenAI GPT-5 Mini when his connection is enabled. When you send a message, your recent conversation and the public page you are viewing are sent through our server to OpenAI to prepare a reply. Do not include sensitive information. We do not save conversation transcripts in the website database; temporary browser context clears when you leave or restart the page. OpenAI may process data under its API data policies. We request that replies are not stored for later API retrieval; this is not a promise of zero provider retention. Product conversations inside Start Here are separate from this website guide.
Enquiries
The contact page prepares an email on your device. It does not submit or save your form content to a website server. If you choose to send that email, Datum receives the details you include through its email service and can use them to respond to your enquiry.
Conversation limits
To protect the public service from abuse and control model usage, we retain short-lived request counters. These use a keyed, one-way transformation of the connection address rather than the address itself, and contain no conversation text. Expired counters are removed as requests arrive. A maximum of eight replies keeps each website conversation focused.
Hosting and email services
Hosting and email providers may process technical information needed to operate their services, such as connection or delivery logs. Email is handled under the policies of the providers involved.
